Part Time Lecturer at Meisui Study Abroad

Welcome to Meisui Study Abroad, an education training center and consultant company  founded in 2010 by an experienced educator with over 22 years in the field. Our founder's background includes serving as a certified IELTS examiner from 2013 to 2018, and holding advanced degrees such as a Master's in TESOL from Columbia University, Teachers College and a Ed.D in Educational Administration from Drexel University. Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic University lecturers to conduct outreach lectures for middle and high school students from China.These students are keen on gaining insights into university life and the professor's area of expertise.The ideal candidate will be a seasoned educator with a passion for inspiring young minds and a talent for making complex subjects accessible and engaging to a younger audience.

Locations: Stanford, California, Providence, Rhode Island,  Cambridge & Boston, Massachusetts and New York City (one lecturer per location above)

Period: July - August 2025

Pay (Hourly): negotiable

Duties:

  • Deliver captivating lectures on university life and your area of expertise to students in middle and high school.

  • Engage students in discussions that encourage them to explore their interests and consider future academic and career paths.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students,helping them understand the possibilities and requirements of university education.

  • Design and develop instructional materials that are age-appropriate and aligned with the students' educational needs and objectives.

  • Share your knowledge and experiences to inspire students and motivate them to pursue higher education.

  • Collaborate with our team to tailor lectures and materials that cater to the unique needs and interests of our target student group.

Requirements:

  • Must currently be a university professor

  • A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field,with a preference for candidates who are currently employed as University Professors.

  • Proven experience in teaching and engaging with students of various ages,particularly middle and high school students.

  • Strong mentoring skills with the ability to guide students academically and professionally, fostering their growth and development.

  • Experience in creating and delivering lectures and workshops that are both educational and inspiring.

  • Excellent communication skills,both verbal and written,with the ability to engage and inspire diverse student populations,including those from different cultural backgrounds.

  • A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young students from China.
